Makerere to issue transcripts immediately after graduation’

Over 11,000 students are expected to graduate at Makerere University from 16th to 23rd January 2012.

The university will hold its 62^nd graduation, which will take one week from the 16^th January.

According to the university’s Academic registrar, Alfred Masikye, students will receive heir transcripts after the graduation ceremony.

Masikye reveals that 46.7% of the graduands are female while 53.3% account for the males.

The university will also award at least 42 graduands with PHDs, 14 of whom of female.
